THE VISION AND MANDATE:
1. To help bring the
Glory of God back to the Church in preparation for The
imminent Coming of Our Lord Jesus
Christ.
We are called to “prepare the way” for the imminent Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Coming of Our Lord Jesus is so
close, closer than ever before. Our vision as Friends of the Bridegroom is to see His Bride, the Church, walking in holiness,
adorned with His glory, power, and authority and made ready for the marriage Supper of the Lamb. We are called to exalt
the Church to be more ready than ever for His coming; walking in holiness, purity and apostolic power. To exhort the Body
of Christ to pursue The Presence, Power and The Glory of God in love, in the spirit of holiness and pure motives that honor
and exalt only Christ Jesus Our Lord. (Isaiah 40:3, 60:1-3; Malachi 3:1-3, 4: 4-5; Matt 11:1-15; John 11:40; Luke 4:18;
Haggai 2:8;
Habakkuk

To call believers
to a radical Christ centered lifestyle of self denial.
That believers will embrace the
Cross and die to self, deny self, pick up the Cross and follow Our Lord Jesus.
Believers will be aware of the subtle seductive spirit of the age that
repudiates the Cross, repent and turn away from self centered Christianity, and
come out completely from the world unto the real God; for we are made for Him
and Him only. He burns with jealousy for our love. It is time for a radical
separation. A divided heart cannot love God. Friendship with the world is
hatred towards God according to
James 4:4
”You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the
world is hatred toward God?
Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God”.
Again Jesus says
Matthew 16:24
"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me”
Luke 14 :26-27
26"If anyone comes to me and does not
hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and
sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple. 27And
anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
The peace of God only comes from our obedience to follow Him and bear His yoke. (Luke 9:23; Exodus34:14; Romans 6:6; James 4:4; Num.25:7-13; 16:45-50)
3. To call the church to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting for revival and awakening.
Stir up the Church unto effectual fervent agonizing prayer and fasting in preparation for a mighty Holy Spirit revival that will restore the Church to her apostolic purity and power, giving birth to local and worldwide evangelism. (Joel 1:14, 2:15-18; Daniel 9:1-19; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Jeremiah 33:3; Ezekiel 22:30; Isaiah 62:6-7)
4. To call the Church to repentance and holiness which will bring a blessing.
To wake the impotent
sleeping church from the prevalent moral
decadence, materialism, status quo Christianity, lethargy, apathy, spiritual blindness, intellectual
humanistic pharisaical religion, insensitivity towards the lost ness of mankind
and from having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof into the
beauty and power of the holiness of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe
that without holiness, no one can see the Glory of God; therefore, we uphold
God’s standard of holiness as the biblical standard for every believer.
Holiness is a weapon that destroys the power of the enemy.
To turn the Body of Christ from self and the world unto the
needs of God, the poor, the hungry and the destitute. Thus the churches in the
developed countries must have compassion towards the poor in the third world
countries; especially the poor, destitute women, men and children caught up in
the spiral web of poverty and hopelessness, immorality and sickness. (2
Corinthians 6:17; Revelation 2:1-7, 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:16; Hebrews 12:14)
5. To warn and reclaim
To blow the trumpet and sound the alarm of the impending
Judgment: if we do not repent soon and turn to God the impending judgment will
be the worst ever known in modern history. 9/11 was the loudest trumpet blown
to humanity to alarm us of the impending judgment, yet nothing has changed. The
future of the country is in the balance. The sword of doom and gloom is
hovering around our heads. We are gravitating swiftly towards one of the
greatest judgments mankind will ever know yet we are still sleeping; but the
Church (you and me) can rise up in prayer, fasting, repentance and evangelism
to tilt the scale before time runs out on our nation. Yes, God will step in this wicked age of
apostasy otherwise He is not a Holy God of Justice. Biblical history gives
strong evidence to this fact. As watchmen we are called to warn the people to
turn from wickedness unto righteousness according to
“Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.”
Therefore we call the church to its position as the true watchman over the nations, countries, cities, churches and homes. We do this in humility, fear and love for God and His children, knowing that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to give an account of every deed done in the body (in secrecy and in the open) before Him, the whole world, the angels and the dead. (2 Cor. 5:10; Isaiah 60:12; Jeremiah 18:15; Isaiah 1:1-30; Jeremiah 2:1-19, 4:4; Ezekiel 7:1-7, Ezekiel 33:6-7, 11:19-21; Jeremiah 3:14-19; Hosea 12:1-11)
6. To declare a holy revolutionary war on satan,
sin, and sickness.
The satanic onslaught and principalities ruling over cities
and nations in these later years have increased in power and fury through
entertainment industry, technology, the diabolical court systems and politics
to name a few .The boiling pot of sin is tilting from hell unto earth at a very
fast speed (Jer.1:11). Satan, knowing that his time is up, has released his
wicked radical demons of sexual perversion, homosexuality, prostitution, and
pornography, nudity to defile, shame and destroy mankind. His ultimate aim is
to destroy the God ordained institution of marriage. Also various demons of
sicknesses have been released to inflict humanity with many strange new
terminal sicknesses among them are AIDS and cancer. We as believers are called
to over power and annihilate these powers by the greater power of God from on
High. According to
Ephesians 3:10
His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made
known to the rulers and authorities
in the heavenly realms,
We must declare to satan and it’s principalities to let God’s people go to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. To remind the Body of Christ that we have been given authority and a command to demolish the principalities of satan, sin and sickness in the Name and faith in the Name of Jesus Christ. Just as Christ Himself was anointed by The Father with The Holy Sprit and power to heal the sick and deliver all who were oppressed by the devil so has He anointed us with His Holy Spirit and power to perpetuate His divine mission in Isaiah chapter 61. (Exodus 5:1, 3:22; John 14:12, 10:19; 1 John 3:8; Deuteronomy 20:4; Joshua 1:3; Romans 16:20)
7. To call the church to Holy Spirit empowered radical
evangelism and Christ centered discipleship.
Our Lord Jesus Christ came to seek and to save the lost. The mission of The Church is to be likewise. It is time to come out of the denominational coops to join hands to save the lost. The church must be awakened to the cry of the dying world and be compelled to obey the mandate of The Great Commission and true Christ centered discipleship that helps believers to develop the character of Christ. We are called to work with The Holy Spirit to call the lost to repentance both locally and worldwide. The great harvest is ripe before the Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 10:7-8; Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:18-20; Isaiah 60:4-5, Isaiah 11:9-12; Joel 13:14)
8. To re-enact the ministry and work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As partakers of the divine
nature of God, we are called to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ, the way
He, The Risen Glorified Jesus did it and continued to do it through the
Apostles which is preaching, teaching and healing with signs, wonders and
miracles following. This must
be the same in the church today. Moses was warned by God to build the Old
Testament church exactly like the pattern shown to him on
Exodus 25
8 "Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell
among them. 9 Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings
exactly like the pattern I will show you ‘
Our new covenant pattern of the church must be “exactly like
the pattern” of Christ; exactly like the ministry of Christ. He came to destroy
the work of the devil forever! We
serve a God who never changes: The Great I AM! He is the same yesterday, today
and forever (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). The work of God must be done exactly
according His pattern and in the mighty power of His Holy Spirit and not in
man’s strength and knowledge. The
9. To give reverence and preeminence to the Holy Spirit of God to glorify Christ.
The Holy Spirit has been sinned against greatly. He has been impersonated, ignored, used, abused, rejected, resisted, grieved and quenched. The Third Person of the God Head Who is here on earth, in us and with us, is here to do the same works of Christ in greater measure. He is here in the fullness of His power to exalt Our Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, the Body of Christ has forgotten Him The Holy Spirit of Christ is standing at the door knocking but we continue to keep Him shut out. In places where He is allowed inside, it is sad to say that He is given an hour to move in the service then because of time factor He, Almighty God Creator of time and all things is told to leave in order to continue with man centered programs .How and why should this be so?! Why do we continue to grieve the Sweet Gentle Dove away? We must die to self and revere, yield and cooperate with Him, The Great Holy Spirit, in all areas of life if we want to see the Manifest Presence of the Shekinah Glory of God and His Power in our midst just as it is in the Bible. Jesus was born by the Spirit, led by the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, ministered in the Spirit, offered Himself to God by the Spirit. He did nothing without the Holy Spirit. The Apostles walked with the Holy Spirit in like manner and saw Our Lord Jesus glorify His name through them in powerful ways; so will we if we are willing to pay the price. We still have the same Holy Spirit in us and with us to do more than we can think or imagine if we will yield completely to His Lordship. (Acts 4:14, 1:8, 13:2; Matthew 12:31; Luke 4:18; 1 Samuel 10:6; Psalm 51:11; John 8:28-32, 38)
10. To turn the hearts of
the youth to their Father God.
To redeem the youth
and younger generation from this devilish radical killer culture of darkness
into the marvelous Light of God. Call the youth out of death, hopelessness,
boredom, deception, immorality, rebellion, depression, all satanic bondages and
worldly allurements. To snatch them from the hands of “moral cannibals’ preying
on their naivety and innocence for selfish monetary gains. We are called to
show them they can have a peaceful life of love, meaning and purpose in Christ
Jesus. They can have a vibrant joyful rewarding life in Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let this fatherless generation know they have a Father they can turn to and
that the Father is turning their hearts to His heart in this age. (Isaiah 60:4;
Malachi 4:5-6; Psalm 68:5-6; Matt. 21:15-16,
11. To call the denominations and races into unity, love and
purpose in Christ.
The world will be attracted to Our Jesus
if they see true love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and His love in us for one
another as One Body of Christ who are members of the same body of Christ with
the same blood of Christ running through our veins. It is the heart of the
Father for us to be one as Christ is one with the Father as He said in His high
priestly prayer in John chapter seventeen. The awesome relationship
demonstrated by love and humility that exists among the Trinity, God The
Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit, must be emulated by us. Then we will
see His Presence and power and beauty that will attract the lost as He is
lifted up among us. We need to sacrifice our doctrinal differences at the altar
and bury the schisms between Pentecostalism and Evangelicalism. Also, we must
crucify racism in the church. It was Martin Luther King Jr. who said, “The most
segregated hour in
12. To know Jesus, The Living Word, by revelation and inspiration through The Holy Spirit.
To teach and preach
the Word of God prophetically, under the power and authority of the Holy
Spirit. To equip the body of Christ for the work of the ministry by preaching,
teaching, training and writing. The powerless self centered intellectual and
humanistic approach to the Word of God has caused the Church and the world
great harm. The Bible is a spiritual
book and the carnal finite mind of man cannot understand the hidden things of
the Spirit. The Author of The Book is the only One Who can reveal, interpret,
and help us apply its deep meanings to our lives, not man’s scholarly method of
interpretation and application. Christ, The Living Word of Truth, can only be
known intimately through His Holy Spirit.
Spirit gives birth to spirit and flesh gives birth to flesh. The Spirit
filled Word mixed with faith will bring a radical change in the lives of the
hearers which will result in the display of the character of Christ in all
areas of our lives. We are called to know Jesus Christ the King in a personal
intimate way in true worship in Spirit and obedient holy living. The Word of
God brings God’s children into the Presence of The God of The Word. (1 John
2:27; Hebrews 4:2; John 1:1-14,
13. To sound the Trumpet of God to the nations.
To call a prayer assembly for the nations, for His house shall be a house of prayer for the nations, and to bring back the prophetic voices into the church. To speak and to do according to what is in the heart and mind of God in this age of moral decay, apostasy, hedonism, natural catastrophes, political and economic upheaval. We certainly need the voice of God to rebuke, correct, encourage, impart hope and give directions to our leaders and nations. (Joel 2:1-32; Isaiah 28:9-11, 30:27,30; Jeremiah 1:7-9; 1 Samuel 2:35; Daniel 2:46-47; Genesis 41:15,16,38-44; Malachi 4:5-6)
